CROSSOVER PRAYER
Crossover is a week of outreach that aligns with the annual meeting of the Southern Baptist Convention. This year, the annual convention will be meeting in Orlando; as a result, all area churches and associations are invited to participate in Crossover.
Crossover is an evangelistic strategy that uses the momentum and power of the SBC coming to a respective city. Scores of volunteers will come to Central Florida the week before the SBC meeting (Crossover is June 1-7), and churches will hosting scores of evangelistic outreach events. Since that week is our annual Vacation Bible School, we will be participating with Crossover through one of the most evangelistic events that we do each year in reaching out to children and their families will the Gospel.
Our local Ridge Baptist Association under the direction of our Director, Dr. Josh Dryer, is working together for Crossover here in East Polk County. Our first step for Crossover is a 90 day prayer campaign leading up to the week of Crossover. The launch of this 90 day prayer campaign is Sunday, March 8, 2026. A printed prayer guide for each family is available at our church.
